Open for Business: Socially Distanced Coworking at Brooklyn Creative League

What a long, strange trip it’s been! With huge sacrifices from doctors, nurses, first responders, and a helping hand from all of us who stayed at home, practiced social distance, and covered our faces for three months, we bent the curve—together. The last few months have been A LOT, but we’re proud that we’ve been able to weather the storm.

With NYC opening up, we are thrilled to welcome you back to BCL!

Some folks have already resumed their regular workweek back at the office, but many of you are understandably cautious. We have made some design and operational changes to ensure everyone’s health and safety.

To make socially distanced coworking possible in some of our more open spaces, we’ve removed some furniture and spaced out desks. For sanitation purposes, we’ve introduced touchless features throughout the space, beefed up our cleaning and disinfecting practices, and implemented extensive signage to explain the new “rules” and to reinforce expectations. For members, it really comes down to wearing a mask and keeping your distance.

You may have gotten our previous notifications about our safety plan, but please check it out as a reminder.

Plus, we’re excited to see many of our favorite bars and restaurants are still open in the area with outdoor seating. So feel free to come by and support local spots like Strong Rope Brewery, Runner and Stone, and even Gowanus Gardens, which is new to the area and right around the corner on 4th Avenue.

We’re so thankful for your ongoing support of BCL, and we encourage you to come dip your toe back in the water. If you have any specific questions in the meantime, don’t hesitate to contact us!
