Welcome to Gowanus!
540 President St, Brooklyn, NY 11215
Located at the crossroads of great neighborhoods including Park Slope, Boerum Hill, Carroll Gardens, and Fort Greene, our Gowanus location brings together the convenience of easy access to transportation and vibrant dining/entertainment.
An easy commute! Make your way to/from BCL easily, with the R train around the corner and the F/G a short walk away. Several bus and CitiBike stations are located just around the corner, and you’ll always find a Revel scooter parked close by.
Want after-work options? Our location is close to restaurants and bars in Gowanus and on Park Slope’s Fifth Avenue corridor. We’re even walking distance from breweries like Threes Brewing and Strong Rope and close to gyms like Brooklyn Boulders (for rock climbing), Blink, and Crossfit South Brooklyn.
Discover the Space
The Gowanus location features two floors in a converted loft building. We offer fully staffed reception areas during business hours to provide support for you and your guests. BCL’s carrel desks provide audio/visual privacy, yet feel airy and spacious due to our high ceilings and large windows. Our open lounges (kitchenettes) and seating areas are stocked with snacks, coffee, tea, and other convenient treats.
Our bright, thoughtfully curated spaces are built to help you get the most out of your workday. Come select a desk that’s right for you: whether it’s by the exposed brick walls or in our “Think Tank” quiet zone.
Starting at $79/month, all of our memberships include mail services, meeting room reservation privileges, discounts to local businesses, and access to all of our events and community board.Learn more›

“BCL is a great place for the clean and well appointed work space. But the real benefit is the community that has been created there supported and encouraged by the owners. The effort to make it a welcoming and friendly environment is what makes it a place where you can look forward to getting what you need done and interacting with some genuinely nice people doing interesting and diverse things.”
