About the Incubator Project

As a mission-driven company, Brooklyn Creative League is partnering with the Brooklyn Community Foundation to host the foundation’s Incubator Project--a program that provides seed money, free coworking space, fiscal sponsorship, and a host of supportive services for start-up nonprofits and emerging community leaders in Brooklyn. In June 2019, we welcomed our first cohort of nonprofits. Get the full details over at the Brooklyn Community Foundation website, including application information and a current list of grantees.

BCL Members: Giving Back While Growing Revenue

While BCL provides space for Incubator Project grantees, the partnership is a great opportunity for BCL members as well, who can join as Business Partners if they agree to offer grantees discounts on professional services. And why not? It’s a win-win for everyone: BCL members get new clients and additional revenue and Incubator Project grantees get access to top-shelf professional services.

Here’s the current list of BCL members who are Incubator Project Business Partners:

  • Advocacy Institute: Advocacy training, campaign development, campaign strategy.

  • Aly Miller Design: Graphic design and illustration.

  • The Brock Method: Board development, campaign management, communications strategy, event planning, fundraising, program development, and strategic planning.

  • Daniel Lim Consulting: Training, facilitation, and consulting services.

  • Media Volery: Brand marketing and strategy, digital expertise, content production, and social media management.

  • Seltzer Creative Group: Web development, branding and logos, animation, infographics, and illustration.

  • Stephanie Wolf Public Relations: public relations and communications, with a focus on women and women-led organizations.
