Coworking Frequently Asked Questions

Is membership month-to-month? Answer ↓

Membership for full-time dedicated desks and part-time members is month to month, with a one month, refundable security deposit due upon signing. Private offices start with a 6 month contract and continue on a month to month basis.

Are you open 24/7? Answer ↓

BCL is staffed (reception and on-site staffers) from 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday. Our space is open 24/7 for full-time members, and available to part-time members from 8am-8pm Monday-Sunday.

Are conference rooms available to all members? Answer ↓

Our conference rooms are available on a first-come-first-serve basis via our online reservation system. All members have access to reserve rooms. We ask that reservations be limited to 2 hours at a time to ensure all members have the opportunity to meet.

Do you allow talking at desks? How about children and dogs in the space? Answer ↓

Talking is allowed at desks, but we ask that long/loud phone conversations be conducted in one of our private phone booths located on both floors. Unfortunately, we do not allow any children or animals in the office.

How does Brooklyn Creative League accept payment? Answer ↓

We accept payment in the form of Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, and Discover. BCL keeps the card on file and charges at the first of the month for your membership level and also any extra charges you may have received in the month (mail, snacks, color printing, copying, etc.).

What is the community like at BCL? Answer ↓

Brooklyn Creative League is a friendly, collaborative community. We offer weekly potluck lunches and happy hours. Members gather together in lounges at mealtimes and share project ideas. Our online community board gives BCL-ers a place to find help with projects they are working on or any need they may have, both business and individual. The OG co-working space in Brooklyn, BCL does not feel like a cold, sharp environment. Instead, it offers a warm, neutral space ideal for gig-swapping and getting work done.
